Section 1 — Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use constitute a binding agreement between you and International Kids Friendly Travel - IKFT, registered in Malta. These terms apply to all IKFT websites including ikftravel.com, ikft.org, ikft.net, ikft.travel, and internationalkidsfriendlytravel.com. Use of any IKFT site implies acceptance of these terms.

Section 2 — Intellectual Property

IKFT® is a registered trademark of International Kids Friendly Travel™ (EUIPO). International Kids Friendly Travel™, Kidmetrix™, IKFT Recognized™, and IKFT Advisory Services™ are claimed trademarks.

Personal, non-commercial use of content is permitted. Commercial use, reproduction, and systematic extraction are prohibited without prior written consent.

Badge license: limited, non-exclusive, revocable. Badges must display the Edition year and must be removed if recognition status changes.

Section 3 — User Representations

By using our sites, you confirm that you have legal capacity to enter into agreements; that your use is lawful; that you will not impersonate others or bypass access controls; that you will not submit unlawful material; and that you will not send unsolicited commercial communications.

Section 4 — Description of Services

IKFT provides informational content, editorial articles, and family travel guides. Public recognitions (IKFT Recognized) are based on desk scans and editorial review. Advisory Services are B2B family-readiness consultancy. Content may be updated, amended, or removed without notice.

Travel Mode Tags (Nature & Retreat, Splash & Play, City & Discovery) are indicative descriptors only.

Section 4.4 — IKFT Recognized Disclaimer

OUR 'IKFT RECOGNIZED' TIER IS AN UNSOLICITED OPINION OF IKFT, BASED SOLELY ON OUR ANALYSIS OF PUBLICLY AVAILABLE DATA.

Section 5 — Prohibited Activities

Prohibited uses include: systematic data retrieval or scraping; unauthorized use of IKFT marks; unauthorized framing or linking that misrepresents the source or affiliation of content.

Section 7 — Modifications

IKFT may change or remove content without notice. No guaranteed continuity of service is implied.

Section 8 — Governing Law

These terms are governed by Malta law. Malta courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from use of IKFT sites.

Section 9 — Disclaimers & Liability

The site is provided "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE." IKFT makes no warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Direct damages are capped at EUR 100 or fees paid for the specific service, whichever is lower. Users indemnify IKFT against losses arising from breaches of these terms.

Section 11 — AI / Automated Processing

Content may be produced using a combination of human review and automated tools (including technology‑assisted or AI‑assisted processing).
